A weapon carrying father and child team took shots at an honest lady they erroneously accepted needed to break into their Florida home in what specialists described as a “outrageously dumb” occurrence.

“This positions among the most insane stuff that I have found in some time and I’ve seen a ton of insane stuff,” Polk Province Sheriff Grady Judd said of the Saturday morning occurrence.

Gino Colonacosta, 73, and child Rough, only 15, thought a gatecrasher was hiding when it was only a decent neighbor who dropped off a bundle of medication at their entryway that was shipped off some unacceptable home in their apartment building, Judd said in a Monday public interview.

The Colonacostas saw the man on their Ring doorbell and found it dubious, the top cop said.

The young child, equipped with a weapon, went outside to glance around, however the man previously returned home. Then the pair stroll outside looking for the non-existent thief prior to detecting a vehicle with colored windows and the motor running around 100 yards from their home.

Inside the vehicle, a lady was playing on her telephone and staying out of other people’s affairs as Gino Colonacosta pointed a weapon at her and requested she escape the vehicle.

The lady thought she was being carjacked and wildly turned around her vehicle, colliding with one more vehicle toward the rear of her, Judd said.

Rough Colonacosta began terminating at her since he accepted the driver was endeavoring to maneuver into him and afterward his father likewise began shooting as she drove away, Judd said.
